    25th JANUARY – BURNS NIGHT

    Join us for some traditional Scottish fun & celebrations wit some whisky, bagpipes and classic Scottish hits from the likes of Rod Stewart to The Proclaimers, performed by our resident acoustic artist.

    3 Course dinner plus a wee dram of Macallan £30 per person

    STARTERS
    Beetroot & Edinburgh Gin Cured Salmon
    with pickled cucumber and grapefruit salad
    Smoked Pheasant
    with celeriac puree, blackberries and a port wine jus
    Potato Risotto with wild mushrooms, parmesan and truffle jus

    MAINS
    Warm Oven Roasted Squash Salad
    with charred onion, balsamic beets, curd cheese, heather honeyed parsnips and a red wine jus
    Traditional Haggis (Vegetarian option also available)
    Simon Howie’s original award winning Haggis, neeps, tatties with a whisky and wholegrain mustard sauce
    Scottish Sea Trout
    served with Samphire, Lobster risotto, baby spinach, clams and a lemon and shrimp butter sauce
    Fillet of Scottish Beef
    with a rich red wine and madeira sauce, wild mushrooms, roasted shallot, oven roasted winter root vegetables and creamy mash
